Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Research:

His research interests include, design, demonstration and characterization of the RF devices, instrumentation of MRI devices, high resolution MR imaging, RF safety of electronic devices, metamaterials and implantable electronic devices for wireless sensing. He has hands-on clean room experience since 2009. He recently focuses on ultra-high field (UHF) MRI and novel solutions for the problems of UHF-MRI.

 

Education:

Dr. GÖKYAR obtained his B.Sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D., all from electrical and electronics engineering in 2009, 2011 and 2018 respectively. He is the valedictorian of B.Sc., in 2009. He was awarded with a graduate level scholarship of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBİTAK), between 2011 and 2017. He was awarded with the 3rd place in the Graduate Research Conference (GRC), at 2011, Ankara, Turkey. During his graduate studies at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Gökyar contributed to the publishing of 6 scientific papers along with a granted international patent.
